3A Murray Street
Murray Street is on the right when walking or driving along
Camden Road (A503) away from Camden Town towards Holloway - it
is after Carpet Right and before the ESSO/Tesco garage.
If you have
entered Murray Street from the Camden Road end, Optimotion is in
the row of shops on the right after you have gone past Camden
Square - after the Laundrette and before the Nisa store. While you're in the area why not have a look at our neighbour at number 2a, Camden Art Square - a small gallery run by local artist Sofia K
There are three
bike parking stands on the pavement outside Optimotion, also
note that the London Overground trains from Camden Road allow
bikes on board.
The spaces in the bay opposite Optimotion are free to use all
day Saturday and Sunday, but cost £1.60 per hour on weekdays
If you have no
change for the Pay and Display - don't worry because the council
allows us to activate paid visitor parking in this bay by
entering your registration number on the parkmobile website, the
cost is the same as buying a pay and display ticket and can be
added to your bill.
Before 4pm there
is 1 hour free parking on Camden Road right next to the end of
Murray Street - in the red boxes. Sainsbury's on Camden
Road provides 2 hours free parking for customers (if you spend
£12 or more on shopping).
Camden Road station is less than 350m from Optimotion Camden -
exit the station onto Camden Road and head towards the
Esso/Tesco. Camden Road station is on TfL's Overground
line, trains go from Highbury and Islington for interchange with
the Victoria line and overground services from Gospel Oak,
Barking, and Clapham/Richmond.
station on the Northern line is about 8 minutes on foot, head
along Camden Road past the Sainsbury's supermarket.

Gate to Angel Islington (via Camden Town Station) stops on the
Agar Grove end of Murray Street near the Nisa Local
mini-supermarket, the stop is described on the on bus display
and announcement as 'Murray Street'
